Deep relaxation is always good for you and your baby. However, since the techniques of HypnoBirthing must first be internalized, it’s a good idea to start a course at least in the 2nd trimester.
Benefits in early pregnancy
The sooner you start the course, the more you can enjoy the content on a daily basis. Even in early pregnancy, it will do you good to connect with your baby, to feel into yourself, to relax. In the Birth Flow course a meditation for early pregnancyis included. After you have completed the course, you will practice going into deep relaxation every day, which means that you “reserve” a beautiful, relaxed time just for you and your baby. This is luxury for your body, your mind, and your baby, as your body releases endorphins that travel directly to your baby via the placenta.
At least 6 weeks before birth is recommended
If you take the course at least six weeks before the birth, however, you will still have enough time to learn the method at your leisure. Going into deep relaxation takes some time and practice. Like a muscle that you train. In the Birth Flow course you’ll receive audio files for this, i.e. guided meditations and affirmations that you can listen to over and over again and thus practice. During the birth, you will then easily being relaxed, feeling comfortable and safe, and staying completely with you and your baby.
Late start? Also possible!
If you are closer to your due date, you will need more time to practice every day, so that the technique can be deeply stored in your subconscious. But this is also absolutely possible. It is never really too late to practice HypnoBirthing and use its advantages for your birth as good as it is possible for you in your given circumstances.
You can do it! I believe in you and will help you on your journey. You will be able to turn fear into joy and experience a self-determined, peaceful birth in love and confidence. Find out more here.
In my next post, I’ll explain what kind of content you can expect in a HypnoBirthing class.
