My Method
Would you like to prepare for birth in a holistic and integrative way?
My approach may be right for you.
For many women, childbirth is closely associated with fear and pain. This belief has been passed down for centuries and is often so deeply rooted that we can hardly imagine birth as peaceful, instinctive, and even comfortable.
And yet, like other mammals, women are naturally made to give birth. When a woman feels safe, supported, and relaxed, birth can unfold more gently, more peacefully and with far greater ease.

HypnoBirthing
What is hypnobirthing?
HypnoBirthing is a trusted method of mental, emotional, and physical birth preparation. It supports expectant parents in creating more confidence, calm, and trust as they prepare to welcome their baby.
Together with your partner, you prepare for birth in a positive, conscious, and deeply empowering way. You learn self-hypnosis, deep relaxation, breathing techniques, and supportive tools that can help you approach birth with greater peace and confidence.
At the same time, you strengthen your connection as a couple, deepen your bond with your baby, and awaken your own inner strength and wisdom. Step by step, fear-based thoughts, limiting beliefs, and inner tension can give way to more positive, peaceful, and empowering feelings about birth.
Where dOES IT COME FROM?
The English obstetrician Dr. Grantly Dick-Read (1890–1959) recognised that fear and the expectation of pain can create tension in the body, which may interfere with the natural birth process. He described this as the fear–tension–pain cycle and believed that confidence, education, and deep relaxation could support a gentler birth experience.
In the decades that followed, birth became increasingly medicalised and hospital birth was widely normalised. In response to this development, Marie F. Mongan developed HypnoBirthing in the 1980s in the United States. Inspired by earlier pioneers of natural childbirth, HypnoBirthing became one of the most well-known approaches to mental and emotional birth preparation, helping women reconnect with trust in their bodies, their babies, and the birth process.
In the course, we work with hypnosis. This is not something mystical or irrational, but a gentle and scientifically grounded method of birth preparation. Through self-hypnosis, visualisation, and breathing techniques, you learn to enter a natural state of deep relaxation while staying focused, aware, and mobile. This can support birth in a very powerful way.
Hypnosis allows you to connect more deeply with the subconscious mind, where fears and old beliefs can be gently transformed. Step by step, fearful images of birth can give way to more peaceful, positive, and empowering expectations – making more room for confidence, calm, and trust.
A clear understanding of the natural birth process is also an essential part of this preparation. Knowledge strengthens trust in your body, your baby, and the wisdom of birth. It helps you create a strong inner picture of your ideal birth and remain connected to it throughout your journey.

The Three Pillars
My method can help you…
What Makes My Approach Different?
What I share with you is rooted in my own experience and personal practice. My method is an updated and refined form of HypnoBirthing, enriched with selected elements from NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), mental training, and psychological preparation. In this way, I offer you supportive, effective, and practical tools for birth.
Rather than creating pressure around the idea of a perfect birth, my approach helps you meet birth with calm, flexibility, and trust – even when things unfold differently than planned.
I also support you in building trust in your birth team, including your birth companion, midwives, and doctors, so that you can feel safe, held, and well supported throughout the birth process.
You will learn how to return to a deeply relaxed inner state, even in the presence of distractions or unexpected changes during birth.
During and after the course, I remain personally available to you by phone or message until the birth of your baby and am happy to support you with any questions or uncertainties along the way.

When feeling, thinking, and acting are in harmony, you can become fully immersed in the birth process and enter a state of flow.

Go With Your Birth Flow
The tools of my method are simple to understand and flexible to apply. They are practical and adaptable, so you can use them in the way that feels most supportive for you and your baby. You are unique, and every birth is unique too.
Even women who have had difficult or traumatic birth experiences in the past have found HypnoBirthing to be a gentle and healing path toward a different kind of birth experience.
HypnoBirthing has helped many women around the world prepare for birth with greater calm, trust, and confidence. I experienced its benefits myself when I gave birth to my daughters in Mongolia, and these experiences strengthened my conviction that birth preparation can be both gentle and deeply empowering.
