The year 2022 is coming to an end. A new year begins very soon. Life is lived in cycles. We come from a mysterious world, incarnate in a human body, come to earth through our parents, are born through our mother. We live our life until one day we return to the other side.
We take nothing with us except our experiences, our being. And what we leave behind will hopefully be a lot of love. Eternal love that connects all beings and worlds together across time and space.
THE DARK SEASON LETS US TO TURN MORE TO THE INSIDE
This darkest season of the year has a special magic and creative power. When it is cold and dark outside, we can turn to the inside, to ourselves. Deep within us we find the warmth and light, the answers, can draw new strength and be born anew.
WE LIVE OUR LIVES IN CIRCLES
We live our lives in circles, going with the seasons, turning with the earth. Everything essential is round – like the earth, like the womb. The womb is our first home on earth. Where could it be more comfortable, warmer, more protected, more secure than under the heart of our mom? There we once floated weightlessly in deep connection with the cosmos, connected to our mother’s heartbeat in pure trust.
Then comes the big day when we leave this protected environment and physically separate from our mom for the first time. But we want to continue to be close with her. We want to continue to hear her heartbeat, feel her warmth, smell her scent, sleep in her arms and feed at her breast, our life source that nourishes and comforts us. For a long time yet, we are one with our mother. And our mother needs the protection and care of others to be able to be completely there for us. Later, when our mother and father are old and need our help, we can be there for them. And so we come full circle again.
THE TIME HAS COME TO CHANGE THE IMAGE OF BIRTH
Birth is so important. Wouldn’t it be beautiful if today’s children were born in love and peace? When their beginning of life is filled with trust and joy? When their first experiences and impressions on earth are positive and uplifting? When their mom and dad are well, happy, and not sad or traumatized? When they are healthy, not only physically but also mentally, emotionally? When they are in their full strength, so they can be there for their baby and their family? When they are filled with love and warmth and gratitude whenever they think of the birth of their child? And this may carry them for a lifetime? When they are full of pride to have mastered this self-determined?
Now the time has come when we can be born like this again. Since we remember that birth is the most natural and beautiful thing in the world. The way nature inteded birth to be. That it is exhausting and powerful, yes, but not need to be painful and sorrowful. The image of birth is allowed to change now. You are a part of it, if you want to be. You as expectant parents are the pioneers of your child’s birth, the masters and the experts. It’s your baby, your birth. Your duty, your destiny. It’s a family affair. You’ve got everything inside you to do this. It’s true.
